During this weekends photo assignment I nearly forgot to take photos but as I was in Detroit I remembered that I could shoot some there. Thankfully my Dad had his camera on him because a lot of these photos turned out very well and I got some great shots of architecture. I really liked this photo assignment because it was a lot of fun to shoot and we were in Detroit and Detroit has a lot of unique looking buildings that can have good turn outs for photos. I also really like to shoot architecture so that was a plus along with the trip.

During this weeks photo assignment the class had the option to find advertisements online or advertisements win magazines and try our best to duplicate them and in the duplicates we had to take a photo of our own and put it into the photo . I really liked this photo assignment because you can be creative with it and you get to try and redo the photo in photoshop which was fun. With the addition of picking your own idea the hard part was finding the idea at the same time though.
In this weeks photo assignment I decided to take photos for black and white since some of mine didn't turn out that well I had to go out re shoot some but I also used some of my old photos from macro and still life which very few turned out good and I couldn't use the ones I turned in What I like about this photo shoot/photo edit is the cool design that it gives the photo for some reason it makes the photo sometimes look even better without any true color in the photo. And working with the clarity and contrast can make the photos turn out even better than before.
In this weeks photo assignment we as a class got to choose what photo assignment we wanted to challenge ourselves with our try out. In addition to that we also had to before we started create pollaroids which are a different way of photo merges photos but they way they are merged is as separate photos. Before After Before After Before After What I liked about these photo assignments was the fact that you could pick what you wanted and try it out yourself while challenging your photoshop skills. My first one I did was a lego brick sort of filter where i created this brick with the bevel tool which was hard to do. And then my second one I did a comic book strip piece where is looks like a comic to a extent which was more difficult than I thought. But for the comic book the only problem I had was that you had to buy the exact word design.

This was a good weekend to shoot outside because of the very nice weather. What I like about this assignment how many ways you can make the photo turn out with a lot of color or a lot of detail and other options also. With these the photo has a cool sort of unreal look sometimes making the photo sort of have a comic book look to it.
In this weeks assignment the class had to find or take photos of them and merge them together so they have a overlapped/blend feature to them. And also we had to as a class do the same thing but use our imagination of what are future was gonna be like with money and fancy cars and such. This is the Composite And this one is the future In this assignment I had a huge problem at the beginning of just figuring out how to even get the photos to look good over top of each other. And then later having a problem with the blending but after I found out how to do it, it was fun and I enjoyed it.
In this weeks photo assignment I tried for the first time light painting which is where you have a timer set where you can walk around making cool effects with lights or create effects. You have to have a object in the photo as you take them. In this assignment I had a problem where my camera could only reach 10 seconds causing me to have to quickly get up and try and think of something to do since I had no help. But in the end I really think I did well for the first time and I wish I had more time on my camera to take cooler photos.
In this in class photo assignment we as a class had to take two other different styles of panographic's. One where we hand stitch them together which is a long hard process and the other being a photo merged planographic with more of a vertical shaped style. The hardest part on this assignment for me was having to retake some photos because they never aligned correctly or because I kept moving in the photo. I should've stayed in place instead of walking around taking them causing a problem at the beginning. And the other hard part was having to hand stitch the photos together because of the time it took and some photos still not aligning.
In this weeks photo assignment I decided between the three topics I still have left and went with panoramic which wasn't the hardest of the three. But during the panoramic you take photos of a big area you can't capture in just one photo so you have to take multiple panning photos of the area. And then align them about %30 between each other so they don't end up looking bad. Panoramic's aren't the hardest if you just don't move while shooting them so you don't cause a blur effect. Photo Non-Edited Photo Edited During this assignment though I came into a problem with my camera dying half way through which was annoying and when the camera had enough battery life to take photos it was raining out. Which resulted in my camera lens either constantly fogging up or rain blobs on the lens that had to be constantly whipped off. In addition to that I had problems with the ISO because of the cloudiness and it took me awhile to find the feature on the camera, but overall this wasn't the best assignment for me personally.
