This class was definitely something different and more challenging at times then digital photography one, but I still really liked a lot of the projects. Some of the things I liked about this class was the weekend photo assignments we had to do where we had the option to shoot photos of specific categories of photos. Which made me take light painting photos which I had no idea how to do and thought I was really gonna mess it up, but then turned out to be probably one of my best photos of the year. I also liked shooting pantographic's which gave the photos a whole new perspective, and the whole photoshop side of things where we got to chose for one assignment what we wanted to do which was cool because those turned out to be my best photoshop assignment's. I overall really enjoyed all of the assignment's this class had to offer, and how it was different from other classes where it was ten times more tech involved which was nice. ^Best Photo of the Year ^ Other Best Photos of the Year Like I said before I thought this class was a lot of fun and had challenges to it, but it also taught me a lot in the whole process. This class was a struggle for me in the beginning of the year with me struggling to figure things out again in photoshop like with the whole layers part and trying to frame photos in a more complicated way. But after not taking it for two trimesters it slowly came back to me and by the end of the year I knew how to use photoshop like I remember I was able to. Photoshop taught me a lot of new things I didn't know how to do like the whole pollaroid assignment have to figure out how to duplicate photos and unveil them and reveal them. And I also learned in photoshop how to blend photos together and figure out how to work opacity into the photo making it look nice. On the photo side though I learned all about HDR and learned even more things you can do with the exposure of a photo and how to take pantographic with three to four pictures. With the whole portrait unit we had at the end I learned how to the whole set up of lighting makes the whole photo also how to not use such a noisy background. I hope to take more fun classes like this in the photography department because it was something different instead of the classroom which was so much fun.

The second half of the portrait assignments we had to do were stuff we mostly had to go home and take photos of like self portraits of something that can relate to you in a personal way and environmental showing an activity you do. Best Photo Self Portrait Best Photo Environmental What I liked about these photos was the fact of how easy they were but fun but at times my camera would switch out of portrait so that was a problem. But like I said before this was a lot of fun to go out and shoot some portraits.
This week in digital photography our class is working on 4 assignments of portrait styles to shoot with them ranging from the studio inside with the backdrop. To the ones you take outside of the studio with your own background scenery. The person I shot these photos of was a friend of mine Josh. I had a lot of fun shooting these assignments because we got to go outside with the nice weather which made some good backgrounds for the non studio. And the studio set up photos I thought we set up the lighting nice for the shots so overall I thought it went well.
